How to pose for pictures | Easy Instagram posing tricks.

Happy 2019 lovelies, this is the first blog post of the year and one of my goals is to create more content for the blog and eventually to change the blog in a few months to make it more ”professional” if that makes sense, anyway for today I wanted to share with you some ”tricks” for posing on your photos. * do it for the gram*

A lot of people, including me at the start, are shy in front of the camera and probably don’t know what to do and if you don’t have a professional photographer behind the camera he/she is not gonna help you, unless they are passionate about it but in most of the case it’s up to you to choose what to do and how to pose so, I’ve been in front of the camera for the gram for 2 years but only a few months ago I’ve started to go out and really taking photos so I had to improve my posing game and I’ve learnt some easy posing.

. Play with your hair

That’s something that I do in real life to, so it was the first thing that I did in front of the camera and I have to say that it helps to make the photo more interesting.

. Look Away

Don’t look into the camera just look away, pretend there is something interesting. Looking away makes the photo a little bit ”relaxing” and it doesn’t really feel like you are posing for it.

. ”I’m looking for something” pose

This one is probably the one that you see the most, even Kylie Jenner rocks it.

. Wear sunglasses

I’m wearing them more in my picture, they make it more interesting and I feel more comfortable since I have a little problem in my left eye! You can also play with them and make the photo cooler.

. Have a coffee

Go to a nice bar or even in your house and pose with a cup of coffee, you can’t go wrong or even a fancy breakfast!

These five poses are the ones I use the most BUT if you have your go-to-pose please leave a comment below!

Thank You, NEXT!

Here I am, it’s the last day of the year and while I’m writing this, I’m thinking about all the crazy stuff that happened to me. I had great moments and bad, bad moments but if there is something that I’ve learnt is to get up on my feet alone. I know that probably you are all watching other people highlights on Instagram these days BUT remember that probably they all had their dark and bad moments that turned them in such stronger people.

So, where to start? I have to say THANK YOU because I was healthy this year. I have to say THANK YOU because I had my family next to me this year. I was just thinking that I have this little space on the Internet (Instagram and the blog) that let me have good and sweets moments this year so THANK YOU for being part of this journey.

On January I got the opportunity to attend my FIRST fashion show and fashion week EVER. And I’m so grateful for that. I got to work with such amazing brands that believed in me and my work. I met new people that are now so special to me. I’ve rediscovered myself. I’m proud of me and I can’t wait for the next year. So, thank YOU.

A lot is going to change in 2019 so get ready and enjoy the ride.

Love, Veronica.

21 Things I’ve learnt.

Hello lovelies,

it’s been a while, I know! I would like to have an excuse for that but I don’t. in the last few months I decided to take sometime and understand what I wanted to do on Instagram and with the blog, in the last few months good things happened that gave me new ideas and the desire to keep pushing BUT I realized that I was giving my self some limits! I’m preparing new things for the new year and I can’t wait to create more and beat my fears.

Last week I turned 21 which is a big deal! My life changed a lot in 21 years BUT I think that the little girl that I was once would be proud of this young woman that is still figuring out her self. I wanted to share with you 21 that I’ve learnt till now.

  • Pursue your dreams!

You don’t know what can happen in your life, things change so quickly and if you keep doing what you love you are gonna see results – big or small – but you’re gonna see them.

  • Don’t apologize for who YOU ARE.
  • We all have our own path.

I don’t know what this life is really about, I don’t know what will happen next, I just don’t know why people die or get sick. I don’t know why some people are rich or some are poor, I don’t know why things happen BUT I think that for every decision we make we have a written path.

  • It’s okay to feel not okay.
  • Don’t expect from others what you will do for them.
  • Listen – to yourself, to others. Listen.
  • Everyone makes mistakes.
  • True friends will always find their way back to you
  • Bad moments are just bad moments, they pass.
  • You will never stop to know someone.
  • Health is the most important thing.
  • Everything has an end. No matter how painful that could be, it happens.
  • It’s not easy to open your heart to people.
  • Everyone around you has a story that matters.
  • Relationships are complicated.
  • You are always stronger than you think.
  • People are mean.
  • You’ll probably never find someone that is going to love you as much as you love yourself.
  • We all can make a change in this world.
  • Speak up.
  • You are important.

You don’t have time. That is the most bitter and the most beautiful piece of advice I can offer. If you don’t have what you want now, you don’t have what you want.

NYFW SS 19 Recap

Hello folks,
September is here, and we are already in the middle of it, crazy right? As you know September is THE fashion month and probably the month where everyone feels like they should put their shit together. New York is my favourite city in the world and when it meets fashion in the most chaotic week of the year it’s something incredible.
Fashion week is about fashion shows, presentations, street style and events where everyone that is someone in the fashion industry has the pleasure to attend and today we can say that the number of bloggers and influencers is always increasing, and it shows also how the fashion industry is finally accepting new figures.
I made a list of my favourite fashion shows that I’m going to share with you, I’m going to talk about street style and events too.

The main trend is NEON. Are you ready to rock it? Also, flip flop were a thing but I’m sure it’s not a trend that I will rock next year.  Continua a leggere “NYFW SS 19 Recap”

The Dior Saddle Bag is back – with an Instagram Blitz

After almost 20 years the iconic Dior bag is back, it did it in the most modern way possible – An Instagram Campaign.
The Saddle Bag, designed by John Galliano, made its first appearance back in the 1999 during the Paris Fashion Week on the show inspired by Lauryn Hill but it began a ‘’phenomenon’’ when Carrie Bradshaw wore it in Sex and The City (Season 3). a4867b60c0b198cc2c28064c360e4abd

The bag made an appearance on the A/W 18 catwalk when Maria Grazia Chiuri wanted to reimagine this IT bag for 2018 and living in an era full of nostalgia about the 90s/00s there is no doubt that its come back is going to be a success, in fact the campaign that a few days ago took over your Instagram may be just the beginning.

Our chaotic “Social Life”

For the second time I’m trying to write down all the thoughts that have found a home in my mind. While I’m drinking my coffee and I’m scrolling trough Instagram this morning I’m thinking about this weird feeling in my chest that is hunting me for days, it’s nothing that I can’t control but why is it still there after all this time?
We find our self in this new chaotic ‘’social life’’ from the moment we leave the bed to the one we get back into it, we are constantly in the need to produce something that other people are going to like, we are constantly under the pressure to prove, to show that we are having the best time ever even if that’s not true and for who takes it more seriously it starts to hunt your mind and order you to create, create , create. I’m not complaining about social media let’s be clear, I’m complaining about the way we are using it today and the way this is making me feel today. Continua a leggere “Our chaotic “Social Life””

My Skin Care Routine

I’ve never been a routine person, especially for my skin. I have to say that when I was younger I didn’t use anything for my skin; first because I didn’t need it at the time and second because I would’ve forgot for sure.

When I grow up, thanks to a lot of stress and my DNA (I guess lol) my skin got worst. And these past few years got also so dry. I don’t drink a lot of water so that was one of the main problems. I don’t have to say that I’m taking care of my skin now and I also turned myself into a routine person, maybe was just the process of getting older. Continua a leggere “My Skin Care Routine”
